Your training at Magna:

Our apprentices learn in a training network consisting of Magna Steyr, Magna Powertrain and Magna Heavy Stamping.
You begin with your basic training at the Vocational Training Center in Graz. After that, you’ll learn directly at the site of your training company in Lannach, Albersdorf, Ilz or Graz.
Working hours at Magna Steyr, Magna Powertrain, Magna Heavy Stamping and Magna Energy Storage Systems:
Monday – Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:12 PM.

The apprentice’s income is based on the collective agreement of the metal industry:
- 1st year of training: €1.000,00
- 2nd year of training: €1.182,65
- 3rd year of training: €1.546,13
- 4th year of training: €2.028,95
The initial income as a young skilled worker is currently at over €2,700 gross.
